Equip your gravel bike with the SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS derailleur, a high quality, sturdy electronic gear-shifting system. This powerful and robust derailleur has been optimised for gravel rides and can now handle a cassette up to 44 sprockets! This large range allows you to use the optimal gear of 44 sprockets for the steepest climbs, to 10 sprockets for fast decents. This Rival derailleur features X-Sync pulley wheels that keep your chain securely in place on bumpy roads. In addition, eTap AXS technology allows you to shift gears quickly, smoothly and intuitively. You can set your shifting system to your preferences because this derailleur can be paired with a smartphone app!
This SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS rear derailleur is compatible with all SRAM Force AXS parts. It can be used with all SRAM Rival shifters, but also with Force shifters or the SRAM Eagle MTB shifter. This gives you endless personalisation options and allows you to completely customise your bike to your preferences.
This SRAM Rival eTap AXS rear derailleur can be used with 1x and 2x 12-speed drivetrains.

A crooked derailleur hanger is a common problem. It can be caused by the derailleur coming into contact with something hard, which may happen during a fall, for example. Fortunately, this can be repaired! Find out more here.
Make sure you clean your jockey wheels too!
Like the chain, derailleur pulleys can get very dirty. This makes for a less enjoyable ride and may affect the durability of your drivetrain. Therefore, when cleaning or oiling the chain, it is advisable to also clean the jockey wheels. You can do this by gently turning the chain while running a cloth along the pulley.
